This sonically dense collection of songs represents a bit of a goodbye. On Idyl recently moved from his Berrywood studio to a brighter, more open place. Meandering through the woods at dusk, these songs feature slow rolling drones cascading together in gentle waves while synth arpeggios percolate above and below the fray with an intensity that he sometimes found difficult to control. At other times they are haunting and melancholy, very much like the forest that inspired them.
