Meditation on Depression is a collaboration between ambient producers Asha Patera and Blue Sun Chasing. Both artists have released several albums of solo material, broadly spanning the ambient, drone, and minimalist genres. In this work, they present a long-form composition structured in three distinct movements: an entry into darkness and melancholy, a descent into a mind losing control, and finally, a state of exhaustion that gives way to relief.
Initially conceived in late 2025, the piece functions as both an examination of the psyche and a journey through lucidity.
